Farmoor Reservoir

Far more than just a reservoir, Farmoor is a unique habitat for wildlife and a dream destination for anglers and sailors. There are three nature reserves, offering the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife.

We will be joined by Hanna Jenkins, nature reserve manager at Farmoor for a presentation/tour of the site. She will share details about what it takes to manage the site, the wildlife that calls Farmoor its home and improvement projects taking place including the recent creation of a new wetland area.

Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for a walk around the reservoir and reserve on an April evening. The walk will be for about one hour.

The cost of the event includes a donation from OWF to the reservoir's charity partners, Water Aid and Dementia UK.
