Active Menopause
Janette Cardy has run her own fitness company for more than 20 years. In 2000 she suffered two serious strokes due to Graves disease. She was left unable to speak and walking was difficult. Although very low, Janette decided to take up a new sport and in 2012, she won the Europeans in her age group and won a silver at the Worlds in Canada.
Janette is on medication for the rest of her life to keep her alive. She is now 52 and fitter than ever. She will speak to us specifically about how being perimenopausal has changed her training and more broadly how to set goals, cope with anxiety, and improve self-worth.
We look forward to seeing you.
