Women and Retirement Planning

Whilst record numbers of women are now saving adequately for retirement, there is still a disparity between men and women, and it’s estimated that almost a quarter of women aren’t saving anything for retirement. Helen will explain the ‘female funding gap’, identify some solutions to help address shortfalls in retirement provision, and explore some of the options available for pensions at retirement.

She will include an example of the power of compounding, showing how saving regularly early can make a big difference, and will also talk about pension contributions for the self-employed.
